| RO Idle is home to myriad classes with some synergies to help enhance gameplay experience and hunting efficiency. Each class has its own set of skills to master, some of which are shared with other classes. Furthermore, achieving a certain level of mastery in certain class(es) will unlock the next tier of classes featuring greater specialization. Keep in mind that although the classes are categorized in different tiers, each of them is designed to be viable and has its own streangth. A higher tier class is not necessarily better than a lower tier class.

| To be prepared for what the world has to offer, players will start their RO Idle experience with 3 party members consisting of a Warrior, a Scout, and an Apprentice. Achieving level 30 in each of the tier 1 classes will unlock tier 2 classes from each tree.
