Home Town/Storage

Dimensional Storage is a server-specific storage system in Roidle that allows players to store items without weight restrictions. Unlike your character's inventory which has a weight limit, Dimensional Storage uses a slot-based system where each unique item type occupies one slot.

Overview

Dimensional Storage provides a secure place to store excess items, crafting materials, equipment, and consumables. The storage is:

Server-specific - Storage is separate for Regular Server and Seasonal Server
Slot-based - Uses slots instead of weight (each unique item = 1 slot)
Stackable - Items can stack up to approximately 30,000 per slot
Accessible via Waypoint - Can be accessed from the Waypoint tab

Accessing Storage

Dimensional Storage can be accessed through the Waypoint tab in the game menu. The storage interface has two tabs:

Deposit - Move items from your inventory into storage
Withdraw - Take items from storage back to your inventory

Desktop Controls

When using the desktop version, you can use keyboard shortcuts for faster item management:

Alt+Click or Option+Click - Move items while ignoring the preview functionality

Storage Capacity

Base Capacity

Players start with a base number of storage slots. The current maximum capacity is 300 slots.

Expanding Storage

Storage capacity can be increased through:

Fame Shop Expansion:

Cost: 200 Fame Points per expansion
Increase: +10 slots per purchase
Maximum: Up to 300 total slots

Storage Features

Item Organization

The storage interface includes several organizational tools:

Sorting Options:

Alphabetical - Sort items A-Z by name
Tier - Sort items by Tier (1-9)
Crafting - Sort by crafting materials

Filtering Options:

All - Show all items
Consumables - Potions, food, buffs
Equipment - Weapons, armor, accessories
Material - Crafting materials
Raw Material - Unprocessed gathering materials
Construction Material - Building/crafting components
etc. - Miscellaneous items

Search Function:

Type in the search bar to quickly find specific items by name

Item Stacking

Items of the same type automatically stack together in a single slot:

Maximum stack size: Approximately 30,000 items per slot
Benefit: Allows you to store large quantities without using multiple slots

Storage vs Inventory

It's important to understand the difference between your character's inventory and Dimensional Storage:

Enlarge Backpack Skill

While not directly related to Dimensional Storage, the Enlarge Backpack skill increases your character's carrying capacity:

Type: Passive skill
Effect: +10 weight per level to maximum inventory weight
Leveling: Receive items from hunts to gain experience

Note: This skill affects your character's inventory weight limit, NOT your Dimensional Storage slots.

Storage Slot Display

The storage interface shows your current usage in the top-right corner:

Format: Current Slots / Maximum Slots

Example: 73 / 120 means you're using 73 slots out of 120 total available slots.

An Unlock more storage slots button appears when you haven't reached the 300-slot maximum, linking to the Fame Shop.

Usage Tips

Store crafting materials - Free up inventory weight by storing large quantities of materials you're not currently using
Keep equipment sets - Store alternate gear sets for different builds or situations
Organize by category - Use the filter options to quickly find what you need
Regular maintenance - Periodically review and organize your storage to avoid clutter
Prioritize slot expansion - If you frequently run out of inventory space, consider purchasing storage expansions from the Fame Shop
Stack similar items - Items automatically stack, but make sure you're depositing all of the same type together
Use search function - For large storage collections, the search bar is faster than scrolling

Server-Specific Storage

Dimensional Storage is server-specific, meaning:

Regular Server storage is separate from Seasonal Server storage
Items stored on one server cannot be accessed from another server
When purchasing Fame Shop items, you select which server receives them
Each server maintains its own independent storage capacity and slot count
