Overview

RO Idle is home to myriad classes with some synergies to help enhance gameplay experience and hunting efficiency. Each class has its own set of skills to master, some of which are shared with other classes. Furthermore, achieving a certain level of mastery in certain class(es) will unlock the next tier of classes featuring greater specialization. Keep in mind that although the classes are categorized in different tiers, each of them is designed to be viable and has its own streangth. A higher tier class is not necessarily better than a lower tier class.

To be prepared for what the world has to offer, players will start their RO Idle experience with 3 party members consisting of a Warrior, a Scout, and an Apprentice. These classes will be referred to as tier 1 classes as they are immediately available. Achieving level 30 and 40 will unlock the fourth and the fifth character slot respectively. Achieving level 30 in each of the tier 1 classes will unlock tier 2 classes from each tree.

There are currently 9 available classes with a further 14 classes currently being designed.


Tier 1 Classes

There are 3 tier one classes, which are immediately available when you started playing.

Warrior

Your typical tanking melee fighter with skill to provoke a single target while your DPS classes finish them off.

  • Bash: a melee skill that deals 200% P.ATK at skill level 100.

Scout

An agile physical DPS class that can be fighting in the frontline alongside the Warrior or use a bow to dish out damage at a safe distance from the frontline.

  • Focused Shot: a single target bow skill that deals 175% P.ATK at skill level 100. Only usable with a bow equipped.

Apprentice

A beginner magic caster capable of healing party members and casting basic offensive spell. Since the Apprentice is lacking in combat experience, they are not a very effective damage dealer, but they are a very reliable class at maintaining their mana and providing healing when needed.

Tier 2 Classes

Knight

A Knight is a Warrior that dedicated his life to protecting others, so his skill set focuses heavily on getting enemies to attack him instead of his party members. This class is unlocked once your Warrior achieves class level 30.

Skills:

  • Challenge (passive): This passive skill allows the Knight's normal attack 30% chance to apply the Provoked effect on the target at skill level 100. The provoked target will direct all their attacks towards the Knight until the status wears off. This skill gains skill EXP whenever the Knight casts Taunt.

Mercenary

Mercenaries are Warriors that have chosen to fight for money, rather than to protect the weak. Their tactics can be a bit dirty, but that does not make them any less effective than other classes in battle.

Skills:

  • Mocking Shout: An AOE skill that enrages all the enemies giving them additional P.ATK, but reduces their P.DEF and Hit Rate. The chance of successful application depended on S.ATK. +50 P.ATK, -30 Hit Rate, and -15 P.DEF at skill level 100.
