Classes
Overview
RO Idle is home to myriad classes with some synergies to help enhance gameplay experience and hunting efficiency. Each class has its own set of skills to master, some of which are shared with other classes. Furthermore, achieving a certain level of mastery in certain class(es) will unlock the next tier of classes featuring greater specialization. Keep in mind that although the classes are categorized in different tiers, each of them is designed to be viable and has its own streangth. A higher tier class is not necessarily better than a lower tier class.
To be prepared for what the world has to offer, players will start their RO Idle experience with 3 party members consisting of a Warrior, a Scout, and an Apprentice. These classes will be referred to as tier 1 classes as they are immediately available. Achieving level 30 and 40 will unlock the fourth and the fifth character slot respectively. Achieving level 30 in each of the tier 1 classes will unlock tier 2 classes from each tree.
There are currently 9 available classes with a further 14 classes currently being designed.
Tier 1 Classes
Warrior Your typical tanking melee fighter with skills to provoke a single target while your DPS classes finish them off.
Skills: - Bash: a melee skill with low MP cost and deals decent damage. - Provoke: a single target taunt. The duration and the effectiveness increases as you level up the skill. - War Cry: a party buff increasing the entire party's P.ATK. The duration and the bonus P.ATK increase as you level up the skill. - Improved Fortitude: a passive skill that increases maximum HP and the effectiveness of consuming HP recovery items. This has no effect on consumables that heals for a fixed amount of HP. - Martial Prowess: a passive skill that increases P.ATK as you level up the skill.
Scout
An agile physical DPS class that can be fighting in the frontline alongside the Warrior or use a bow to dish out damage at a safe distance from the frontline.
Skills: - Focused Shot: a single target bow skill. - Circling Strike: a single target melee skill with a chance to apply the Pinned status on target. - Tactical Positioning: - Improved Focus: a passive skill that increases Hit Rate. - Alacrity: a passive skill that increases EVA and Speed.
Apprentice
A beginner magic caster capable of healing party members and casting basic offensive spell. Since the Apprentice is lacking in combat experience, they are not very reliable but are still a valuable addition to a party.
Skills: - Heal: a single target healing spell. - Arcane Bolt: a single target offensive spell of a random element, so it has a 25% of being one of the four elements; fire/water/wind/earth. - Arcane Mastery: a passive spell that increases M.ATK and MP regeneration. - Improved Spirituality: a passive spell that increases WIS and MP regeneration.
