Berserkers primarily scale with STR for maximum damage output. DEX is important for accuracy, while VIT helps mitigate their naturally low defenses.
STR is by far the most important stat for this class, as it is the primary source of damage. DEX is important for accuracy, while VIT synergizes well with their high HP pool.

WIS can be useful for MP regeneration, and AGI is generally the least important stat for this class.
A little bit of WIS can be useful for MP regeneration if MP is constantly running out, and AGI can be an option if you are planning on a basic attack build with Frenzy, as Speed allows for double actions when basic attacking.

*For a glass cannon build:
*For a Cleave/Execute build:
Maximize STR and DEX for maximum damage output, relying on lifesteal and damage mitigation to survive.
Maximize STR, stopping on multiples of 10 and add enough DEX to hit your enemies, relying on support and Bloodlust to survive.

*For a more balanced approach:
*For a good frontline build:
Distribute points between STR, DEX, and VIT for a mix of damage and survivability.

*For solo play:
*For a Frenzy/basic attack build:
Focus on STR and VIT, with enough DEX to maintain accuracy. This build sacrifices some damage for better survivability.
Add STR and AGI on equal amounts, with enough DEX to hit your enemies. Check the bonus multipliers to get the most out of damage and speed.

The Bloodthirsty Onslaught

For this beast, pain is only fuel to their anger, and anger means power. The more wounds they acquire during battle, the stronger their attacks get. Focused solely on dishing out damage, be it with a barrage of attacks or potent cleaving blows, no enemy stands for long in front of the Berserker.

Driven by an insatiable bloodlust, Berserkers enter a state of battle frenzy and gain power as they take damage. They care little for defense, relying instead on their ability to eliminate threats before they can be struck down. As they take damage, their attacks become more ferocious, making them particularly deadly when pushed to their limits. While they may lack the finesse of other warriors, their sheer destructive power is unmatched, making them a terrifying presence on any battlefield.

Unlock

Berserker is a tier 3 class that is unlocked by leveling the Mercenary class to level 50. As all T3 classes, it retains all of the previous T2 and T1 classes' skills.

Pros and Cons

Comparisons are made considering classes from the same tier

Of the Warrior classline, Berserkers are the most damage oriented class, with the ability to deal heavy AoE damage in the frontline, bleeding them to avoid healing and gaining power as health decreases. They lack natural defenses and using too much Heavy Armor is not recommended, as it reduces the damage bonus from Berserker's Rage, but they have a huge HP pool and great self-sustain through Bloodlust. This makes them a good off-tank class, but they require good support to be effective.

Their lack of ranged options is a significant weakness, as they are unable to deal damage from a distance and need to walk up to enemies, which might slow down progress during the hunt. Equipping a spear might be a good option to counteract this, but they lose the ability to apply bleeding to enemies.

  • Strengths:
    • Good AoE damage potential
    • Gains power as health decreases
    • Strong self-sustain through damage dealt
    • Excellent at clearing groups of enemies
    • High counter-attack
  • Weaknesses:
    • Low defensive capabilities
    • Reliant on support to survive
    • Must equip 2 handed weapon to unlock their full potential
    • Requires careful health management
    • Limited ranged options

Stats

STR is by far the most important stat for this class, as it is the primary source of damage. DEX is important for accuracy, while VIT synergizes well with their high HP pool.

A little bit of WIS can be useful for MP regeneration if MP is constantly running out, and AGI can be an option if you are planning on a basic attack build with Frenzy, as Speed allows for double actions when basic attacking.

      1. Ideas and Suggestions

These are all suggestions, you can't have 1 script which is perfect for every hunt and every gear

  • Use Bloodlust when your HP is low to increase your damage and lifesteal
  • Prioritize Cleave when facing multiple enemies
  • Execute is your primary single-target damage ability
  • Be mindful of your HP, as Berserkers are more effective at lower health but can be fragile
  • Consider adding item usage for emergency healing if needed
  • Adjust the HP threshold for Bloodlust based on your comfort level with low HP play
